Meet Julie Blitzer
It took until mid-life, after extensive education and life experience, that I could finally answer the question “What do you want to do when you grow up,” with confidence and certainty.
My answer is, “To support people along their journey of personal growth.”
A quote by Ram Dass, the American spiritual teacher and author, captures my answer much more eloquently, and serves as my guiding intention:
"We're all just walking each other home."
About ten years ago, I felt called to pursue “walking” with others specifically while they navigate the difficult terrain of grief (from various types of loss) and preparation for death.
Little did I know then that I would experience multiple significant losses several years later, making my professional training necessary not just for others, but for my own healing as well.
My work is extremely gratifying and ironically, life-enhancing… the deep connection it fosters fills me with vitality. Whether it’s through 1:1 client interactions, group events, or writing, my aim is L.O.V.E:
Leaving
Others
Valuable
Experiences
If I get the opportunity to “walk” with you, my hope is that each subsequent step you take is filled with self-compassion.
